The Painted Pot offers Handbuilding/Sculpture classes for children at all three of our Brooklyn locations. Students will be introduced to basic handbuilding techniques by creating functional pieces and other works of wonders. In handbuilding students will learn to make functional items such as mugs, bowls as well as picture frames and wind chimes.

The Painted Pot also offers Pottery Wheel classes for children and adults at our Carroll Gardens studio. Students will be taught the fundamentals of wedging, centering, lifting, trimming and glazing in the Wheel Class. In addition to being exposed to a working pottery studio, each student will receive individualized instructions according to their interests and experience.
