Paint Your Own Pottery

Welcome to The Painted Pot where you
can create together as a family.
Walk into our bright beautiful studios
where you can relax and explore your creative side.
You do not need to be an artist or have experience
to paint pottery. Our staff is here to help you create
your first piece of pottery for yourself or as a gift. All
supplies, instruction and inspiration are provided
in the price of painting. All ages are welcomed to
paint, create and have fun.
And leave the clean-up to us!
When you are finished painting pottery,
creating a mosaic picture frame or stringing a necklace,
we will clean up the mess.

How it works:
Step 1: Select a piece of pottery (also know as
bisque). We have over 500 items to choose from functional
pottery such as plates, bowls and mugs to picture
frames and candle holders. And for children of all
ages, we have figurines and a large assortment of
banks.
Step 2: On your first visit, we will give you a
brief orientation on how you layer the paints, where
to find your supplies such as brushes, sponges, how
to use the stamps, contact and transfer papers. We
have idea books and photo albums for you to browse
so you can stir your imagination.
Step 3: Choose your paints. We offer 40 undergazes,
pottery glazes and puffy paints. Since we are a flat
fee studio, you do not have to worry about how long
you may stay to paint and or how many paints you
may use. Just sit back, relax and enjoy time for
yourself and your family.
Step 4: After you have finished painting, your
painted pot will be dipped in a clear food-safe and
non-toxic clear glaze giving your pot a clear glossy
finish. It will be fired in our kiln for 16 hours
and will be ready to be picked up in 5 to 7 days.
No appointment is necessary to paint pottery, bead
a necklace or mosaic a picture frame.

Here's what it costs:
The EVERYDAY flat fee rate is $8 for adults & $6
for children 16 years & younger. $5 for seniors,
plus the additional fee for the pottery.
Give The Gift of Art! The studio fee includes ALL MATERIALS,
the final glazing and firing of your piece. Payment
in full is required on day of painting.
Your individually handcrafted pottery with their imperfections
and slight slips of the artist’s hand are what
make them special.Your pottery is a gift from the kiln.
