In hand building, students learn slab, pinching, and coil techniques. Each student will receive individualized instructions according to their interests and experience. All classes are 2.5 hours long with 2 hours of instruction and 30 minutes to clean.
Cost: 8 weeks: $385 * 7 Weeks: $342 * 6 Weeks: $300 Includes Firing Fee: $40 for each class. Firing Fees will be charged for clay, glazes, studio tools, the cost of bisque and glaze firings of pottery. When a student exceeds this amount, additional payment will need to be paid. Firing fee is $.05 per cubic inch. Students must have own tools and are available for purchase. Tool Kits $24.

As a sister company of the Painted Pot, Clayhouse Brooklyn has offered pottery wheel classes since 1998. All classes are small and intimate and are taught by accomplished artists and instructors in a clean and bright studio, and located in all three Painted Pot locations.
