Winter Camp (Presidents’ Week)

Campers will be introduced to basic hand building techniques by creating functional pieces. They will paint with Acrylics on Canvas, and learn  how  to Mosaic.  Each camper will receive individualized instruction.  Some projects will be ready for your artist to bring home right away. The other creations will be ready for pick up in two weeks, after they are glazed and fired.

Please drop off your child with lunch 

 

Theme days and projects are subject to change to accommodate the needs of all students and The Painted Pot. All materials and firing fees are included.

Monday through Friday 9:00 am-3:00 pm.  
Ages: 6 to 14 years old (Classes are Coed, and depending on class size, we will split the class up by age)
Class Size: 18 students
Single Day Camp Passes: Would you like to join camp for a single day? We have single day camp passes available for $165/day. Call the studio to book your single day pass.

Sibling Discount: Receive 10% off your additional child when you register 2 or more children from the same family. This discount will be applied automatically when you checkout.

+30 Minute Early Drop-off (8:30 – 9 AM) -Available for Campers – $50/week add-on –You can add it to your cart at checkout. 

+2 Hour Late Pick-Up (3 PM to 5 PM) -Available for Campers – $150/week add-on –You can add it to your cart at checkout.

Vaccination Requirement As required by the Key to NYC COVID-19 vaccination program, every student and member must now show proof of vaccination of the COVID-19  vaccine.  We require all students and members to be fully vaccinated at The Painted Pot/ClayHouse Brooklyn.  For more information about the NYC legal mandate, please click here.
 
Due to the growing positivity rate in NYC and recent Omicron surge, we are following the recommendations of New York State which advises educational and business facilities to require a booster mandate for all students, studio members and staff. We ask that ALL students and staff receive a booster shot by January 18, 2022 and will be checking for proof of vaccination and a booster upon entry.  Our studio activities will stay masked.

Our studio has enforced a strict COVID-19 vaccination mandate. When you come in for your class , you will be REQUIRED to show proof of vaccination. We appreciate everyone following these rules. Please know, we are doing everything we can to maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for everyone in our studio.

Snack Time
Weather permitting, we will have snack time outside.  If weather is inclement, the children will have 10 minutes to eat their snacks in our studio.

Cancellation Policy
To request a cancellation of a class and refund, please email: pottery@paintedpot.com . Refund request must be requested 14 days prior to class start date for a full refund minus $25 processing fee.  If you cancel your class within 14 days of class start date, you will receive credit for the price of the class minus $25 processing fee, to be used toward another class or workshop. When cancelling your class, you will have no more than 6 months to redeem your credit which will be in the form of a virtual credit to be given when requested to register.  No REFUNDS once the class begins, nor can you transfer to another class or to another semester.   We cannot be flexible on our policy and there will be no exceptions.

Make-Up Classes
 
We no longer offer make-up classes due to COVID-19 restrictions and the fact that each class has full enrollment. We cannot allow make-up classes due to COVID quarantining or exposure.  We will not allow make-up classes if The Painted Pot/ClayHouse Brooklyn has class on holidays, school half days or when your child’s school has no class at all.   There will be no credit or refunds for the pick up fee if your child misses class.  There will be no exceptions.
