In this beginner’s combination wheel and hand building class, students are taught the beginner fundamentals of wedging, centering, lifting, trimming and glazing on the pottery wheel. As for Handbuilding, students will learn slab, pinching, and coil techniques. Each student will receive individualized instructions according to their interests and experience. All classes are 2.5 hours long with 2 hours of instruction and 30 minutes to clean.
Cost: $360 for 8 week class Plus Firing Fees
Firing fee is $.05 per cubic inch includes both glaze & bisque firings. Students must have own tools and are available for purchase. Tool Kits $24.Tuition includes one class once a week 2.5 hours. Students must sign in for open studio time.
